Default I'm done playing Guild Wars

The game no longer interests me, but I will pop in here and there on the forums because you guys are cool . I have school and etc and whenever I do sit down to play the game is just so boring. And please don't ask for any of my stuff, i'm going to keep all of it until some new patch or chapter 2 comes out so i'm not a total bum when I fire the game back up. I think like 80% of my guild has stopped playing too, since the update atleast. I never would have thought that my guild would be one that has 'left' guild wars. Blah. This is absurd and off topic.

Eh, just putting it on the shelf until Ch. 2 or the next big update will work well. Chances are (if you're like me), you've overplayed it

Yes..I can understand your bordom! I to have been on allot less then before. Now just last night though I joined up with Arturo02's guild on some runs and it was fun again with good/mature people to play with. He invited me to his guild and I jumped ship and joined. Now I will experence some good GvG and PvP which was lacking in the other guild I was in.

The only thing is they play so darn late...and I am so darn OLD and need my beauty sleep!

How late is "darn late"?

My guild is most active around 11 or 12 at night...and I found out the best time to do HoH is early in the morning (1 or 2 am)

After midnight is LATE for me. I get up at 4:30am for work. Even on the weekends I try to stay up later, however, even with a nap during the day I am tired by that time of night. My internal clock will not reset like it use to. I do like getting up early on a weekend morning and playing whilr the house is quiet and all is right with the world. Coffee in hand, fresh from a good nights sleep. It is all good! Every once in a while...a Wake-n-Bake.

I know what you mean man.

Day of Defeat: Source is released tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure for about a month I'll have to drop everything else in my life to play it. Sure GW is fun, but I'm all about FPS.

I just bought a cheap Gamecube and Wind Waker. I needed something to hold me over until the new Zelda comes out...

Yay for used games!

Get Fable---if you have a Fry's Electronics in town, it's only $38.00 (vs. $50 elsewhere). The game is fun and VERY different from most single player RPGs that I've played in the past.

hehe but we aren't good at gvg and pvp....yet!

yes we had a fun night fighting our way from ToA to Sanctum. I got there the mission way so it was cool to explore some parts of the map I hadn't been to.

And I think OWD hit the nail on the head. It's about active guilds. If your in one that is fun and people play a lot, your gonna want to play more. And the most amazing thing is it doesn't matter if it's the Nolani mission or trying to get elites in Ring.

It's because an MMO is about doing things with other people and sharing experiences.

Hang in there explosive badger, wait it out a bit, maybe your guild will get better or perhaps recruit some fresh blood. See if there's anything you can do to improve the situation. If that doesn't work, then look for one more active.

But school is important so maybe it's not such a bad thing your guild is quiet. You might be reaping a benefit of good timing.

I'd play GW a lot more if I had fun people to play it with, if I could round up a shitload of gwguru people in a TS server on a regular basis I'd be on a hell of a lot more.

Well, Wrath, actually that's what I meant. I got Fable: The Lost Chapters and it's fun.

No TS server, and I'm typically not the sort of person to...get together that sort of thing. I just enjoy being there.

I try not to beat this game so that I'll always have something to comeback to now i am focused on unlocking every ranger skill without being a ranger. Takes a long time in random arenas. P.S. Any one know a good secondary profession for a minion master?
